Have you ever had a mice problem?
This year, on our annual family trip to McCall, Idaho, the cabin that we stayed in had a biiiiit of a problem. I’m talking droppings in every kitchen drawer (and on the beds and counters), insulation all over the place… just no bueno.
Mind you, I am no stranger to mice. We used to have them in the feed bins at the pig barn all the time when I was growing up. But mice in the barn is a little different than where you lay your head at night…
I prefer to do things the non-toxic way. No bad, harmful chemicals will be used around me or by me. The healthy alternative to nasty chemicals when smoking out the mice? Peppermint essential oil.

Now, before you think I’m crazy, let me ask you one thing: Why would you expose yourself to harmful chemicals if you don’t have to?
Just dap some oil on cotton balls and place in areas where they’re living. It doesn’t kill them, but it gets rid of them. In just 24 hours, they’re sure to be out and in your traps! We put peanut butter on old school traps and caught two the next day!

Good luck, honeys!

Kylee Jane
